I found this video of artist Rex Ray on youtube, which I´d like to share with you.
It´s a good example of freeing oneself, by simply doing what you love, without any judging...



so, let´s enjoy the weekend by doing what we love!

thank you all for your kind words and good wishes for our new studio! We were overwhelmed by the numbers of participators in our little celebration raffle.
As you can see on the pic above, Friederike! decided to take the numbers of comments and to write each number on a small piece of paper (first comment number 1, second comment number two, and so on). That was easier for her than to write the full names.

Afterwards she folded the papers and gave them all in her mail box, which is placed in "her" studio corner. The box she shaked very carefully... that took it´s time....
Then she asked me to bindfold her.
She got very flattered and excited (her ears cannot hide). With blind eyes she stired the papers in the box for another while, before she picked 2 papers, which she ceremoniously presented to me. And now ladies and gentlemen....drums please!!!!

We signed the contract today!
It still feels unreal, but that will change for sure latest in January when we´re going to start with the renovation of our future studio. Oh boy hard work is coming. Although we love the factory charme, it currently makes one think of a slaughterhouse :) Here´s a first glimpse into our soon to be studio...

hello friends, we are ending this week with sharing our second paper item with you. We recieved the cards from the printer this week, together with the mobile. Aren´t they cute? :) We think so! Cute and maybe a bit bold.

Set of 6 greetingcards (printed from original paper collaged vikings). You can add your individual greetings to the speechbubble, which makes these vikings the perfect bearer of messages for every season and occasion.

As a continuation of the speechbubble, the inside of each card is printed with the pattern of the bubble. You can write on both sides of the cards.

flying through the studio today

we´ve updated the website and added a new category for the paper works. The flying horses can now also be ordered from the website

But not only the horses are flying through the studio today. Friederike! and I are flying too and I guess Bogi flies as well. We just recieved good news regarding our future studio location. Seems we can finally sign the contract on Monday and will move to a new studio by the beginning of next year, which the two (pardon three of us plus 2 dogs) are going to share. What a start into a new year! We could hug the whole world! :)

We are so excited! They are here, back from the printer. We proudly present our first of 2 new paper designs. The flying horses mobile. We love it !!!!

Flying horses is a paper mobile kit (first edition of 200) and it comes with:

• 8 flying knights horses printed on heavy weight paper (250g/qm), ready for cutting out. paper size: 42.0cm x 29.7cm / 16.54inch x 11.69inch
• 6 mobile wires
• thread
• a brief instruction, which is printed on the paper sheet
• the mobile kit is packed flat in a solid board envelope for bend protection

We think it is timelessly designed, playful, joyful and is fun to make. If by chance you don´t have a sheep by your side to help you with the making of the mobile, you maybe ask another person for a little help.

Let the horses fly!

We recieved our packing material from memo for the soon to come paper products. They are currently at the printer and we can´t wait to hold them in our hands and hooves and to show you.
Talking about packing.... any Germany readers here, who could give us a hint where to get nice colored envelopes (size C6)?

Only 3 weeks left until X-mas and we have no cookies baked yet, neither gifts for our beloved ones, nor X-mas decoration and even an advent wreath is not in sight. This is a really sad thing, don´t you think and has to be changed soon. But first some packing...
